
Michael Ivcic is one of the original founding members of Bancroft Capital, joining the firm at its inception in June 2018. Originally responsible for spearheading Bancroft’s entry into the new issue municipal market, his vision and leadership helped to establish Bancroft across the entire municipal space. He now serves as a senior advisor across all departments.
Mr. Ivcic came to Bancroft from Drexel Hamilton, where he spent five years in the public finance and syndicate department. While there, Mr. Ivcic was primarily responsible for overseeing all of the firm’s RFP efforts, working closely with issuers and the banking team to provide comprehensive financing solutions.
Prior to his work in finance, Mr. Ivcic spent five years in broadcasting as a news anchor and sports play-by-play broadcaster. He also recently spent two years serving as the Business Executive in Residence at Holy Ghost Preparatory School, his alma mater, creating the school’s business curriculum. He continues to serve as the Director of the Business Institute at HGP, connecting students with industry leaders across all fields of business.
Mr. Ivcic holds a B.A. in Communication from the University of Dayton and is nearing completion of his M.B.A. from DeSales University. He holds Series 7, 50, 52, 53, 54, and 63 licenses from FINRA.
