Karl Biggers

Managing Director, Public Finance

Karl Biggers is a Managing Director and public finance investment banker in Dallas, Texas. He joined Bancroft in 2022 as the firm’s first employee in Texas, and has since been instrumental in expanding the firm’s presence across the state. With nearly 30 years of experience in the industry as a banker and financial advisor, he brings to Bancroft considerable knowledge of the Texas market.

Mr. Biggers has experience in leading the Texas presence for multiple firms, including George K. Baum, Duncan-Williams and M.R. Beal. He spent the early part of his career at First Southwest and Southwest Securities where he developed the foundation of his public finance business. He has been senior banker on transactions from DFW Airport, North Texas Tollway, and TPFA, among others.

Mr. Biggers, a fifth generation Texan, received his B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Southern Methodist University and his M.B.A. with a concentration in finance and management from The University of Texas at Austin. He holds Series 7, 50, and 63 licenses from FINRA.
