Killian Mountford

Candidate, Veteran Training Program

LTJG Killian Mountford served three and half years on active duty, primarily as a Surface Warfare officer in the United States Navy.

During her time in uniform, she held multiple key leadership roles as Training Officer, Strike Officer, and Combat Information Center Officer aboard the USS Lake Erie. In 2024, she deployed with her ship to the Western Pacific operational area. The responsibility of leading Sailors and executing missions in dynamic conditions left a lasting impression, shaping her approach to leadership and decision-making. Her naval service reinforced the importance of serving a cause greater than oneself and prioritizing the collective mission and team above individual interests.

Now a veteran, Killian has invested in herself by pursing a new passion, skiing, and is currently working with NBC Sports’ IT team in preparation for the 2026 Winter Olympics. Drawing on her Business Analytics degree from the University of Notre Dame, she joined Bancroft Capital via the Veteran Training Program and is grateful for the opportunity to develop her skill set while leveraging her military experience within the finance industry.
