Bancroft Capital Promotes Kathleen Baltra to Senior Vice President

Bancroft Capital announced today that Kathleen (Kate) Baltra has been promoted to Senior Vice President. In her new role, Kate will serve as municipal head trader expanding the firm’s ability to add value to accounts in the secondary market.
“Kate has far exceeded all expectations and requirements of her job and is well deserving of this promotion,” stated Steve Ivcic, Managing Director of Fixed Income at Bancroft Capital. “She has shown leadership qualities as well as being an excellent mentor of our Veteran Training Program candidates.”
In addition to Kate’s primary role on the sales trading desk, she is also responsible for generating order flow as well as facilitation and execution of fixed income trades including the operational aspects.

Kate also serves as a Plankowner at Bancroft Capital with over 15 years of industry experience. She offers expertise in trading, execution, portfolio analysis, operational and administrative functions. Kate has her Bachelor of Business Administration from Temple University and holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 Licenses.
