Industry Veterans Alix Cethoute, Jack Logan, and Shannon Hough Join Bancroft Capital Team

Posted: October 13, 2022

Bancroft Capital, a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) specializing in Institutional Brokerage and Capital Markets services, announced new team members Alix Cethoute, Director of Municipal Underwriting (Dallas, TX); Jack Logan, Director of Municipal Sales (Dallas, TX); and United States Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Shannon Hough, Director of Diversity, Inclusion and Veteran Initiatives in Fort Washington, PA.

Texas native Jack Logan brings six years as a commercial banker and over 40 years in municipal business to his new position. He has served as a national sales manager at previous finance firms, as well as head of sales, trading, and underwriting. Previous employment with UMB Bank, Baum Capital Partners and SAMCO Capital are on his resume.

Alix Cethoute has joined Bancroft as a Municipal Bond Underwriter. He will be responsible for bringing competitive and negotiated new issues to market. He has more than three decades in the municipal bond industry, holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Texas at Dallas, and holds FINRA Series 7, 50, 53 & 63 licenses.

“We are incredibly excited to add Jack and Alix to our team. Not only will they work closely with Karl Biggers (Managing Director of Public Finance in Dallas) to expand our presence in Texas; they will also help us grow our footprint nationally through competitive bidding, which will significantly elevate Bancroft’s status in the municipal space,” said Bancroft Capital Managing Director of Municipals Michael Ivcic.

New Director of Diversity, Inclusion and Veteran Initiatives Shannon Hough is a veteran of the United States Navy with more than 15 years of federal, state, and local experience directing legislative affairs, city management, and guiding policy development, planning, and implementation. Hough has managed multi-million-dollar budgets at the city and county level, and advised elected officials, municipalities, and federal agencies on best practices for marketing and implementing new initiatives. She was instrumental in lobbying for the successful passage of the Veterans Administration MISSION Act of 2019 that now allows veterans to receive health care at either a VA facility or another general provider within the community. Hough has served as both elected mayor and city manager of complex and challenging local governments.

“Shannon has led a life of service as a non-commissioned officer, as mayor of a small town, and in many years of supporting prominent politicians. Bancroft is blessed to garner the talents and wisdom of this incredible woman,” said Bancroft Founder and CEO Cauldon Quinn.

Bancroft was co-founded in 2017 by Cauldon Quinn, a disabled Navy veteran. His vision was to build a company with a strong commitment to service: service to clients, country, and veterans. Bancroft places financial industry veterans alongside military veterans to deliver value-added content to its clients; and strives to offer best-in-class service to its institutional clients across an array of financial services. Bancroft rises above the competition on the merit of value-added content and leadership derived from industry veterans with 40-plus years of industry pedigree.

Committed to offering meaningful training and employment to service-disabled veterans, Bancroft Capital launched its signature Veteran Training Program (VTP) in 2019. Bancroft funnels profits, earned through its hard work and extensive knowledge, into the VTP, which puts disabled veterans in a position to develop a skill set capable of supporting a new career as Institutional Traders and Investment Bankers. Bancroft is dedicated to helping restore disabled veterans to their rightful place as leaders in our society and communities, but first and foremost as providers for their own families.

Bancroft aims to offer paid opportunities to up to four VTP candidates each year. Candidate training includes a rotation among the five business units Bancroft operates and an introduction to back office and operations functions, sales trading and compliance while participating in the VTP.
