Bancroft Capital Supports Veterans at Borden Avenue Homeless Shelter

Posted: August 18, 2025

Long Island City, NY – August 18, 2025 – Bancroft Capital, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned and Operated broker-dealer, proudly sponsored lunch at the Borden Avenue Homeless Shelter, serving more than 50 veterans in need.

The effort was led by Bancroft intern Riley Thayer, with team members Ryan D’Alessandro and his son Mason, Daniel Morales and his son Logan, and Bill Mingione all joining in to volunteer. Together, the team served 6-foot heroes, pizza, and beverages, while also providing much-needed essentials such as socks, underwear, and t-shirts.

“At Bancroft, we are deeply committed to supporting those who have served our nation,” said Managing Director Bill Mingione, head of the firm’s Capital Markets group. “It was a privilege for our team to spend the day with these veterans and provide a small measure of comfort and gratitude.”

These outreach efforts are made possible through the ongoing support of the issuers and investors Bancroft serves. Through our client partnerships, Bancroft can further our mission by redirecting a portion of the business proceeds to contribute to initiatives that uplift and serve the veteran community.
